Our Current Quran Class Schedule & Timetable

At JomAlQuran, our Quran class schedule is fully flexible, designed to suit students of all ages, from children to working adults and international learners. Whether you are in Malaysia or abroad, you can book classes in the morning, afternoon, or evening depending on tutor availability.

Quran classes are conducted one-to-one online via Zoom or Google Meet. This is to ensure personal attention and privacy. For those in Klang Valley, limited house-visit sessions may be arranged upon request, subject to tutor availability. We do not run classes during major Islamic celebrations such as Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Aidiladha. This is to allow both tutors and students to spend time with family.

What Are the Available Time Slots for Learning the Quran ?

JomAlQuran follows a custom weekly schedule with consistent slots open every day:

  • 10:00 AM
  • 1:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM
  • 5:00 PM
  • 8:00 PM
  • 11:00 PM

Students can book up to 30 days in advance, with at least 2 days’ notice. This flexibility allows smooth coordination, especially for international learners in Singapore, Saudi Arabia, UAE, UK, US, Australia, and more.

How Long Do Classes Last?

Each class runs for 45 minutes, striking the right balance between structured learning and maintaining focus. For younger learners, sessions are kept engaging, while adult learners benefit from in-depth discussions and guided recitations.

For programs like Hifz (memorization), a longer-term commitment may be recommended, but the pace is always tailored to the student.

What Age Groups Can Join?

JomAlQuran’s schedule accommodates all age groups, with programs for specific learning needs:

  • Children (3–12 years): Start with Iqra’ or Quran reading basics.
  • Teenagers (13–17 years): Build fluency, Tajweed, or memorization skills.
  • Adults (18+): Focus on Tajweed perfection, Tilawah, Tafsir, or Hifz.

This inclusivity ensures that parents, students, professionals, and reverts all find suitable pathways.

What Learning Materials Are Provided?

Depending on the tutor and program, students may receive digital Tajweed guides, Surah worksheets, audio recordings, or progress notes. For children, parents often receive simple updates to track progress, while adult learners may benefit from structured notes for Tafsir or advanced studies. These resources provide continuity between lessons and help learners build consistent habits.

How Is Progress Assessed?

At JomAlQuran, progress is evaluated through live corrections during lessons and regular recitation checks. Tutors adjust pacing based on each learner’s ability — beginners are guided step by step, while advanced students are encouraged to refine fluency and accuracy at a faster pace.

For children, parents receive simple progress updates to help them monitor growth and encourage consistent practice at home. This system ensures both transparency and motivation, allowing students to build confidence steadily over time.

Are There Community Engagement Opportunities?

While JomAlQuran operates online, learners are encouraged to stay connected with local mosques and Islamic centers. Participation in congregational prayers, Quranic circles, or competitions reinforces classroom learning and nurtures confidence. For reverts and international students, JomAlQuran provides structured learning while also guiding them toward meaningful community integration.
